1. Introduction
Welcome to TicketMe. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the TicketMe platform (the "Platform"), operated by TGC Leisure ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our Platform.
TGC Leisure is registered in Scotland and operates the TicketMe platform for the sale and distribution of event tickets.
2. Definitions
- "User" refers to any individual who accesses or uses the Platform, whether as a guest or registered account holder.
- "Event" refers to any concert, club night, festival, or other entertainment event listed on the Platform.
- "Ticket" refers to the electronic entry pass purchased through the Platform that grants admission to an Event.
- "Platform" refers to the TicketMe website, mobile applications, and all related services.
- "Event Organiser" refers to the third party responsible for hosting and managing an Event.
3. Account Terms
You may purchase tickets as a guest or by creating a registered account. If you create an account:
- You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Ticket Purchase Terms
By purchasing a ticket through our Platform, you agree to the following:
- All sales are final. Once a purchase is completed, the transaction cannot be reversed.
- No refunds or exchanges. We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or credits for purchased tickets under any circumstances, except where required by law or in the case of event cancellation by the organiser.
- Electronic delivery. All tickets are delivered electronically to the email address provided at purchase. It is your responsibility to ensure the email address is correct.
- One-time use. Each ticket is valid for a single entry to the specified Event. Once scanned, a ticket cannot be used again.
- Non-transferable (unless stated otherwise). Tickets may not be resold or transferred for commercial purposes without our express written consent.
- Age restrictions. You are responsible for ensuring you meet any age requirements for the Event. Valid ID may be required for entry.
5. Pricing and Payment
- All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.
- A booking fee may be applied to each transaction, which will be clearly displayed before purchase.
- Payment is processed securely through our third-party payment provider (Stripe).
- You must be authorised to use the payment method provided.
6. Event Cancellation or Changes
Events are organised and managed by third-party Event Organisers. In the event of:
- Event cancellation: If an Event is cancelled by the organiser, you will be entitled to a full refund of the ticket price. Booking fees may or may not be refundable depending on circumstances.
- Event postponement: If an Event is postponed, your ticket will typically remain valid for the rescheduled date. If you cannot attend the new date, refund policies will be determined by the Event Organiser.
- Venue or lineup changes: Minor changes to venue, timing, or lineup do not entitle you to a refund.
We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any cancellations or significant changes via the email address associated with your purchase.
7. User Conduct
When using our Platform, you agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its systems.
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the Platform or purchase tickets.
- Purchase tickets with the intent to resell them at inflated prices.
- Provide false or misleading information.
- Engage in any conduct that disrupts or interferes with the Platform or other users.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, software, and the overall design, is the property of TGC Leisure or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on the Platform without our prior written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- TGC Leisure acts as an intermediary between you and Event Organisers. We are not responsible for the conduct, safety, or quality of Events.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform or attendance at Events.
- Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant ticket(s).
- We do not guarantee that the Platform will be available at all times or be free from errors or interruptions.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TGC Leisure, its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the Platform.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland and the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform following any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
